Welcome to Our Web site

The Dallas Karen Community is founded by the Karens who resettle here in Dallas, in the great state of Texas, some for quite a number of years as well as those who recently came to the United States. Each and every Karen irrespective of gender, tribe or faith is welcome as a member of the community. We take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to the Government and to the people of the United States of America for the special privilege granted to us to resettle here in this great Land of Liberty.
The aim and objective of the Dallas Karen Community is to bring together Karens who resettle here in the City of Dallas, to offer guidance and help them go through and overcome the many obstacles they encounter in the resettlement process. As a community, we join hands and work together as a family for the preservation of our language, culture and traditions.
Unity is our motto. Under the guidance of the Karen American Communities Foundation (KACF), Dallas Karen Community will join hands and work with Karen communities from other cities across the US for Karen solidarity and for the general welfare and development of the Karen people here and around the world.

Bringing Us Closer

Always remember our Karen land and the multitude of Karens there. Let us join hands and strive to become better established in all aspects of life so that we can be a source of strength and support for them.

Always bear in mind the word of wisdom of our forefathers that said, “Unity brings supernatural power and division brings destruction.”
